Aski is an emerging artist of Cook Island and Māori descent based in Wellington city. Aski works primarily with illustration using a wide range of ink pens to create detailed patterns and motifs reflecting her Maori and Pacifc heritage. This time intensive process is deployed as a means to reconnect to her whakapapa and her pacific roots. Aski uses a instagram to feature her processes and finished work and is slowly starting to expand her platforms into different stores and galleries around New Zealand including Māorilands, Toi Tangata Gallery both in Ōtaki and here at Moana Fresh in Tāmaki Makaurau.
