Keciano Tufuga is of Samoan (Asau and Alafua), Siamani and Seiga descent, based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
He is a self-taught artist born in Samoa and raised in South Auckland. His painting process is a constant conversation with the canvas, exploring the motion of the Samoan in Aotearoa. Their work is informed by keeping eyes on the media of today and the media that raised them as they express it across the surface of the canvas.
