Pusi Urale is a Samoan artist based in Avondale, Tamaki Makaurau. At 82 years old, Urale is well known for her bold and vibrant paintings based on her memories of Samoan village life. Moana Fresh is selling a series of small scale original paintings in acrylics on canvas. Urale was a finalist in the prestigious Wallace Art Awards in 2017 and 2018. She has also presented successful solo exhibitions at Te Uru Gallery, Waitakere and Fresh Gallery, Otara, Auckland. A mother to six children, she also has 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
