Kū Kahiko is our window gallery designed to celebrate and support emerging and established artists and makers indigenous to Moana nui-a-Kiwa.

The Moana Fresh Gallery Space was gifted the name Kū Kahiko by Kumu Keonilei Fairbanks Lealiifano of Ka Pa Hula o Keaohololā. Its meaning in this context is to rise and stand, adorned in resplendent finery while underneath we are fortified to withstand any oppressive forces we may face. We give our thanks to Kumu Keonilei for this blessing and framing of our kaupapa.

Our exhibitions are a mix of invitation and open call opportunities.

Moana Fresh Gallery is open and on view 24/7 at number 64 Rosebank Road. Nau mai, Haere mai.
